SEO Hosting

SEO Hosting is all about providing different class C IP address and enables webmasters to host their websites and blogs from separate name server on separate class C IP addresses. Multiple class C IP scan really push SEO score of a website to a large extent. Class C IP technique works great enough that there is no scope of its failure. Earlier Black hat SEO used to create blogs, websites and insert their target keywords as anchor text linking to their original websites. These dummy blogs and websites got mushroomed in such a spammed way that Google Spam Filters started to not to value links from these webpages that were hosted on the same class C IP as the main website.

What is Class C IP anyway, as all of us know that each IP is divided into 4 parts like AAA.BBB.CCC.DDD. For example, if the IP address is 69.65.140.134 then 140 would be the C Class. Backlinks i.e. links from webpages hosted on different Class C IP’s will score more over backlinks coming from webpages having same Class C IP.

Many web hosting companies have now come up with the concept of SEO Hosting Plans which do offer a set of Class C IP’s to host your websites and blogs. If your website is hosted on such a SEO Plan then what you need to do is just host a website or a blog like wordpress on each of unique Class C IP and post article on regular basis in these blogs with links linking to your target site but all this should not look like spam, articles must be unique with keyword density of up to 8 percent and not more than two links in a post of 400 words.

These techniques are not recommended for a newbie webmaster as it takes a lot of time in writing and posting these things. There is nothing as good as there is fresh and new content with backlinks in the field of SEO , Search Engines like Google actually do love articles but do mind to take Class C IP into consideration for link valuation.

How to Use Video Marketing to Generate More Traffic

Internet Marketing play pivotal rule to the success of any online business. Internet marketing holds many techniques that your business utilizes to build a customer base while creating interest to other visitors and developing your brand recognition. From all internet marketing strategies and techniques, video marketing is one of the important key features to increase website traffic. This marketing style utilizes video production to help your business come up with interactive and simple videos which you can use to enhance the awareness and interest of consumers in your products.

In this post I will be sharing video marketing tips that can help you to generate right traffic for your website.

With video marketing, you can feature personally or professionally created videos on your site for the viewers to watch. When created well, these videos often go viral attracting millions of hits and thus increasing the traffic to your site and visibility online. This is the goal of video marketing; to attract millions of hits. The secret lies in your ability to strike a balance between information and entertainment in order to capture the attention of your audience and boost your sales.

Correctly and properly optimized video titles and headlines are essential so they will have a good chance of ranking well in the search engines. When you’re looking for a video, or you see one, what do people want to know, first? I.e.… title but think about what draws your attention to the video. Again, it’s the title of it. Since the title is the only clue about the video, that is what all people naturally look at first. So if your title is not going to be descriptive and instead is uninteresting, then there’s no way your video will get a lot of views. So all of your videos need to have title, that will do help to get views, so always pay more attention while writing title for videos.

Make sure that you have the feedback, comments and ratings enable when you post your video. This will let your viewers give feedback on your video, which will push it up and make it more visible. Take all feedback and comments very seriously and make sure that you respond to every one of them. Many times you will notice intelligent comments left by people who are interested in what you’re offering. Interact with them and start a relationship if you can. Plus this type of feedback will help you to understand the pros and cons of your product.

One thing more do not try to make videos so lengthy, visitors will not pay attention to lengthy and bulky videos.

Finally we can say video marketing helps a lot to generate huge and niche traffic to your business if you use video marking effectively.

Google Wonder Wheel – Helping You to Find Relevant Topics

I recently heard about Google Wonder Wheel which will provide you relevant results according to your search. As seems from its name Wonder Wheel, it helps a lot to find niche results in wonderful wayJ.

I usually use Google.com to search anything. But if I could not find relevant result form this then I use Google.co.in. But if still I do not get niche results then I try with other keywords. But now I need not to search different different keywords. Google Wonder Wheel helps to find relevant results.

Google wonder wheel by definition is a wheel display of relevant search terms. Clicking on one of the search terms will open a new wheel of relevant search terms and so on.
The wheel was not invented by the Google Wonder Wheel as related search terms always and still appears at the bottom of the search screen but this is definitely a nice way to display the results and refine your search to find exactly what it is you are looking for.
Now if you search through Google Wonder Wheel, a Wonder Wheel will appear with your search term in the middle and suggestions on the outside as shown in the screen shot below.

As you can imagine this is an invaluable tool to help you produce relevant content relating to your topic. Have fun and enjoy!

The New Mobile SEO

The usage of smart phones is increasing day by day. If the usage is getting increased so it is oblivious usage of mobile optimized websites too. So when we talk about websites then we can not forget about search results. So we need SEO. But here we will use Mobile SEO.

Mobile search engines use different bots and algorithms as compare to normal search engines. Most important thing for search results on mobile depends upon the type of phone e.g its iPhone, Nokia, Blackberry etc. Sometimes Google shows different results on different phones, because mobile search results depend upon user agents and for different mobile phones user agents are also different. The best thing you can do to improve your mobile SEO is to ensure that the mobile crawlers and user agents determine that your content will render well and load quickly on any mobile phone. But the search on mobile is not so popular, because it is facing heavy weight on website’s mobile bounce rate, using the mobile visitors as barometers for how the website renders on their phone. Here you can improve mobile ranking of your website.

Things to know about Mobile SEO

  • One of the best things you can do to improve your mobile search results is follow traditional SEO best practices as closely as possible. While mobile bots and indexes are different from web search, things like title tags, heading tags and alt tags are still very important.
  • Create a secondary mobile style sheet for your traditional site, and call it “handheld.css.” This will allow you to format your existing pages for viewing on a  mobile phone without having to create separate mobile content.
  •  iPhones are bit different, and do not look for mobile “handheld” style sheets. To address this problem, you should duplicate your handheld sheet to create one that is specifically for the iPhone, and call it “iPhone.css".
  •  In some cases, mobile search engines will want to rank a traditional page, but deem it ill-suited for rendering on a mobile phone—sometimes even if it has a mobile-specific style sheet. In these cases, the mobile search engines will rank your traditional content, but “transcode” it for viewing on a mobile phone.
  • The next step is to include a mobile site map. Google has a tool that can help you build a mobile sitemap. If you are using multiple markup languages, for instance XHTML and WML you should submit a separate mobile sitemap for each language that exists on the site, and include only the pages that will render in browsers that can read that type of code. Be sure to link to the mobile site map in your robots.txt file, just like you would for a traditional site map.
  •  Sloppy HTML, or bad JavaScript can really cause problems on some mobile browsers and can also impact download and rendering time of pages. Making sure you have pristine code will create an efficient crawl for the mobile bots, ensuring that they index as much as possible with each visit. If the content on your traditional website is very streamlined, with small file sizes and minimal complex code like JavaScript, AJAX and Flash, this could be enough.

What do you think about the future of Mobile SEO…?

What Would Google Have to Do to Make You Stop Using Facebook?

Last week, it was talk about how Facebook's "going to war" with Google. This was based on Facebook using "likes" as relevance indicators in it's search results. As some pointed out, Facebook has a long way to go when it comes to competing with Google in search. Bing stands to gain more than anyone, as far as Facebook improving its search is concerned.

This week, it's all about Google "going to war" with Facebook as a social network. Just as there is little evidence to suggest that Facebook poses a serious threat to Google the search engine, there is little to support the notion that Google is a threat to Facebook the social network.

Do you consider Google a threat to Facebook?

The discussion rippling throughout the Blogosphere was kicked off when Digg Founder Kevin Rose tweeted (the tweet has now been removed):
An interesting enough post, but also one that caters to much more speculation than any real facts. A popular version of the speculation is that Google will do more with its profiles. This would make sense, given that this is the central hub for one's Google account, and could be somewhat thought of as Google's version of the Facebook Wall.

Obviously Google has other social services like Buzz, Friend Connect, Orkut, Gmail, GTalk, Wave, Reader, Docs, YouTube, SideWiki, etc. As I have said numerous times in the past, Google is essentially already a social network, and these services are connected throughout a Google ID, the one that is tied to your Google Profile. It is really just a matter of how these are connected. Another way to look at it is that Google is the social network, and each product is one of the features.

Is Google going to kill Facebook with a new announcement?

Probably not. While it will certainly be interesting to see what is announced (if anything), and it might be a very good product or feature, people are highly unlikely to stop using Facebook because of whatever it is. Chances are, you already use both Google and Facebook, and I seriously doubt that will stop anytime soon (at least for any reason related to this).

Eric Eldon at InsideFacebook points to comments from former Facebook executive Adam D'Angelo, who says Google's project is "not a rumor" and that there is "a large number of people working on it." Based on his comments, Google is modeling the project off of Facebook.

Even if he says it's not a rumor, we still have to treat it as such until we hear word from Google, and we all know that Google doesn't comment on rumors.

In another interesting side story, Matthew Papakipos, an engineer who "started and managed the Chrome OS project" is now with Facebook. One can only imagine what this means.

What would Google have to do to make you stop using Facebook? Share your thoughts by commenting….

Importance of Google Reader

Google Reader is a web-based feed aggregator that can read both Atom and RSS feeds, whether your computer is online and offline. If you haven't used Google Reader yet, read on to find out what Google Reader is about and how it works.

Overview

Google Reader is a web-based feed aggregator that can read both Atom and RSS feeds, whether your computer is online and offline. To quote the official description from Google:

Google Reader is a tool for congregation, reading, and sharing all the attractive blogs and websites you read on the web. It was released on October 7, 2005 through Google Labs and accommodate in beta status on September 17, 2007.

While many have criticized Google Reader on the merit of it being a an RSS Reader, through the years, these criticisms have died down and perhaps in the absence of a better alternative, Google Reader became the choice feed aggregator for many.

Features of Google Reader

What I like about Google Reader is the fact that it is a product in continuing evolution. We know how Google treats all of its web-based products - that is they recurrently improve them and won't stop until they have reached excellence.
Google Reader may not be near perfect but it is definitely a great piece of work laden with so many great features including:
  • A search facility that crawls through your subscribed feeds and their updates
  • A facility for automatically marking news items as read when you scrolled past them
  • A choice between browsing your news feeds in either list or expanded view
  • A handy set of keyboard shortcuts that makes navigation a breeze
  • A facility for importing and exporting subscription lists as OPML file
  • A front page that could serve as your browser start-up page

Sideways from the key features we just listed, Google Reader has more important features that make it stand out from the other web aggregators available online.

One of these features is Google Readers Sharing feature. This feature used to be done through Email but as Google Reader evolved, you can now share items automatically to your Google contacts.

Then through the use of its Gears tool, Google has also enabled Offline Access for Google Reader. This answered the request of many who access their Google Reader account on a computer with slow internet speed. This feature allows you to download up to 2,000 feed items that you can read offline. The feeds automatically updates the next time you go online.

Google Reader also has a mobile interface that supports XHTML or WAP 2.0. In addition there is also an existing native Google Reader app for the iphone aside from the mobile access embedded on the Google Mobile app. Google also lets you discover new feeds to subscribe to as well as add notes to share items, easily.
